• Basic sewing equipment
• Thimble(can be purchased from Waltraud)
• Straw or Milliner's needles - mixed sizes (can be purchased from Waltraud)
• Tape measure(can be purchased from Waltraud)
• '450' craft glue (or similar) (can be purchased from Waltraud)
• Pliers to cut wire
• Hat blocks if you have
• Steel blocking pins(can be purchased from Waltraud)
• Pen and paper to make note
• Pins with round plastic heads
• Paper scissors & fabric scissors
• Small glass beads in colour of your choice
• A variety of thread colours you want to use
• Trims as in brooches and other bits and pieces if you have
• Any other hat making materials you have at home and you would like to work with
• bring an outfit if you want to match the hat

Organisers
If you want to organize a workshop you need to provide:
• Suitable premise for 8 to 10 people
• Iron board(s)
• Steam iron
• Cattle or steamer if you have
• Tables and chairs
• Mirror
• Coffee and tea facilities (we ask participants to contribute to coffee and tea)
