Combing
After the fiber has been dried and classified and the fibre has been chosen for sinamay production, the initial process of sinamay making is called combing. This process is done to separate each fiber strand from each other for fiber joining later.

Joining - 1
After combing, the next process is joining the fiber as seen in this picture where each fiber is joined together to produce a continuous thread like fiber.
