Last month I attended a workshop with Waltraud and I wanted to say how enjoyable and informative it was. Waltraud is such a fabulous teacher so I was able to relax and create. Years of consulting with clients has given her the ability to effectively discuss students' ideas and individual tastes. Once they both share the same mental picture, they work toward a plan of action. Waltraud suggests the most effective solutions and allows the student to decide. In addition, Waltraud's inexhaustable knowledge of millinery means she can tailor learning experiences to the needs of each student in the class, often inviting other students to watch demonstrations if they wish. This is a rare skill and she demonstrates techniques seemingly effortlessly, but always instilling confidence in her students and adding a few anecdotes about her early beginnings in millinery. On top of these skills, her attention to detail is enviable. Thankyou Waltraud.

Waltraud is a wonder to be around - so inspiring and such a motivated  person that you can feel her motivation and passion seeping in through  your pores!  I arrived at the course I felt with nothing (and as it  happened I really did have nothing as I forgot to bring my haberdashery  supplies - thank you for being so tolerant with my constant 'borrowing'  requests!) but left with my cup not only full but brimming over.  I am  so grateful to Waltraud (and everyone) for de-mystifying millinery and  for so willingly sharing her knowledge and creativity with us all.
