Chenille

Now here is an exciting material!

Chenille is used to make the little spots on veiling. It has a thin wire inside which makes it easy to twist onto any veiling you like.

Sometimes pipe cleaners are used to substituted Chenille which is NOT a good look - one sure can spot the difference!

Chenille is very inexpensive and an easy way to change a very cheap looking veiling into a very expensive one.

Only 1cm of Chenille is needed to make one spot.

Chenille is available in many colours which means one can have a multi coloured piece of veil on a hat if wanted. You also get to choose exactly where to put the spots.

Pipe cleaners are great for arms and legs when making dolls in primary school. Leave it there!
