Bette has bee working with crinoline for years and will share her experiences with you in a short presentation. You will then make a race day fascinator following Bette's step by step guidance.

Crinoline is a synthetic material which comes in a variety of widths and colours. It is extremely versatile as it can be melted stitched, shredded and spray painted.

Skill level: No experience necessary.

What you will learn:

  • The different applications crinoline is used for
  • Which crinoline to use; tubular, pleated or pain
  • How to add crinoline to a fascinator base
  • How to sew crinoline by had and by machine
  • Gluing and ironing tricks
  • Techniques, techniques and more techniques

What you will make:
A small or large hat with double brim
