Hat trimmings are what makes a hat & often it is the veiling that makes a hat that extra bit special.
Veiling is produced in a range of styles & in numerous widths. Only "vintage veilings" are available in wider widths.
Typical veiling styles are patterns, spots, no spots and plain.
Also known as "millinery netting'', or simply ''net'', millinery veiling is made from silk, rayon, cotton or nylon.
Finer, older nettings are more luxurious & comfortable to wear.
When using veiling note: eye veils, nose veils, full-face veils.........anything in between make sure it balances.
When shaping eye, nose or full-face veils or veils anywhere in between, make sure it looks 'balanced'.

Chenille - add your own spots
Chenille is the spots you add to any veiling.
With the large number of colours available in Chenille you can turn
any veiling into a unique piece or turn it into
multi-colour veiling. Do NOT mistake chenille with pipe cleaners. Pipe cleaners can be picked as such. Hint: for a larger spot double the chenille. It is easy to attach as it contains a fine wire. Just cut and bend it over the weave in the veil.
