Block as many hats as you want at the T&R Hat Block Library. Create hats without the hassle of setting up a workspace at home or running around looking for trimmings. Buy all your millinery supplies directly from the T&R Hat Block Library.

NOTE Hat blocks only for use in T&R Studio. Hat blocks cannot be removed from studio.
You must be a Member to use the T&R Hat Block Library.

Opening Hours
- Monday & Tuesday 9am - 5pm
- Tuesday 7pm - 9pm
- Members must book to secure a workspace
- Other days available by appointment

Member fees
- Membership - $30 per year
- Studio use - $15 per person / per hour - payable at end of session
- NOTE - waiting for hats to dry incurs the hourly fee - leave hats overnight without waiting fee for next day pick up

How to become a member
Complete application form online or download & post/fax to us. Members must provide 2 passport sized photos. Payment by direct deposit, cheque or credit card.

What to bring
Members must provide their own steel blocking pins, stiffener, brushes, thimbles & plastic wrap to cover blocks.
Steel blocking pins, thimbles and stiffener are also available for sale at the T&R Hat Block Library.

Safety equipment
Members are responsible for their own safety & must bring their own safety equipment for stiffening & blocking eg respirator mask, gloves, goggles etc

Hat Blocking Service - too busy to block your own hats? T&R also offer Hat Block Library members a blocking service. Hat blocking service

Hat blocking can be a time consuming exercise especially as one starts out. Also dealing with the fumes and smell of commercial stiffener might be hard to take for some people.

Using our blocking service will take all of this away.
Once a hat is blocked the hard work is done and you are left with the joy of the creative process of putting it all together.

Terms and Conditions
- You must be a Member to use the T&R Hat Block Library
- ONLY steel blocking pins allowed - no drawing pins or tacking pins
- Hat blocks are only for use in T&R Hat Block Library - they cannot be removed from T&R Hat Block Library
- Hat Blocks damaged or broken during usage - repair / replacement costs will be charged to the member
- Maximum 4 members allowed to use T&R Hat Block Library at one time
- Members must provide their own brushes, thimbles, and plastic wrap to cover blocks
- Members are responsible for their own safety & must bring their own safety equipment for stiffening & blocking
  eg respirator mask, gloves, goggles etc
- Closed shoes must be worn at all times for protection
