Uses methylated spirits
Adding a drop of water to methylated spirits prevents tools from
blackening
They are available at camping shops and consist of
three parts:
- container/burner
- swivel cover to extinguish flame
- screw top sealable cover for transporting
Note:
- the burner can easily tip over
- the flame is not as hot as a gas flame
- flame is hard to see in bright lit room this can result in
burns and in leaving the room without extinguishing flame
