Crinoline, also know as crin or Horsehair, is a delicate elastic fabric particularly suited for hat making and is made from polypropylene. Crinoline can be melted, stitched or shredded. Richard Nylon, a Melbourne Milliner uses crinoline very successfully and innovatively. Crinoline is often used to extend brims and make them lighter and look larger. Crinoline is also used as a lining for fabric bows to give them more body. The Crinoline we supply is synthetic crinoline. |
